1FM - Burning Bridges

Philadelphia Alternative/Rock band 1FM have a new EP, Burning Bridges, which will be released on May 19th (it's currently available for pre-order through iTunes). The trio (Tim Laigaie, Nick Passio, and Joe Altomari) are veteran musicians who came together after 2011 to do what they love - creating great music. Not beholden to labels, stifling contracts, or pressure from managers and others, 1FM have knocked out a lot of great songs, and have chosen the best of those to be on their upcoming album.

Having spent a few years show hopping in the Philly area, and spending my fair share of time in the Trocadero, I can say that 1FM has a sound that the music scene has needed for a long time - and they are definitely a band to keep an eye on, because I will put money down that you'll be hearing them in the near future.
